Food in Penang.

Ok, i know i've been saying time and time again that im in Penang only for the food.. hell, i even did research months before the trip to gather info on which area had the best of certain Penang hawker fare.. even wrote a list man *smirk*.

I apologize first for the lack of pictures of the food because (as always) i get overly excited when i reach the destination and when i manage to find the correct coffee shop or stall and when the food arrives that i just gobble them all up and forget to take a picture.

Hee hee.

Sorry ah.

I realised the only pictures i have that are somewhat related to food is the venue itself :P.

This is the famed Gurney Drive which was a whole road of stalls dedicated to just hawker fare.. about a hundred stalls selling food ranging from assam laksa, penang char kway teow, lok lok, moi chee (some dessert which looks like mee suah and an old man's beard hehe), oh chien (oysters in omellette), rojak, chendol, wanton noodles and hell loads more. damn packed even on a monday night. imagine saturdays and sundays. o_O"

This is one of the lau ah pek who mans the
Penang Laksa stall by the road atBras Basah below the Kek Lok Si temple which many confirmed produced the best
penang laksa around. hee. the uncle a bit
camera shy. :D the laksa was so good i almost
cried of happiness.. REJOICE! :D

PS: Genting updates tomorrow k . tired like a goat now.
